You lawyers are so nice and precise in shifting and scanning every word and letter that many times you stand more upon form than matter, upon syllables than the sense of the law.

We are very fond of some families because they can be traced beyond the Conquest, whereas indeed the farther back, the worse, as being the nearer allied to a race of robbers and thieves.

You and your mother are so gorgeous. You must have had a great time. I have family in Phoenix and was visiting at exactly the same time as you. My trip was totally awesome. My daughter did most of the driving on our trip and she was so good. I was wondering if, on your trip, your mother did much of the driving. {Please note I didn't end that sentence with a preposition.} By the way, I don't think you should kill all the lawyers. My husband in Qatar, daughter in Provo, son in Phoenix, and son-in-law in Chicago are (or will soon be) lawyers. I wouldn't want to kill them. Please promise me you won't do such a dastardly deed. Ciao.
